What is CBAM, and why does it concern you?

CBAM (the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism)is an EU regulation requiring the embedded carbon emissions of goods imported into the European Union — steel, aluminium, cement, fertiliser, electricity and hydrogen — to be reported and, over time, priced.

For companies exporting these goods to the EU, CBAM is not optional — it is EU law in force. Reporting emissions incompletely or incorrectly means per-tonne penalty risk and lost customers. SME exporters without a consulting team or data infrastructure struggle the most under this burden.

How It Works

Weeks of preparation, reduced to minutes

An auditable draft CBAM report in three steps.

1

Enter your data

You enter your installation, product and energy consumption data step by step. The system flags missing or inconsistent inputs and guides you.

2

Calculation and report are produced

Emissions are calculated deterministically using official EU and IPCC factors. AI turns the result into a report in CBAM format.

3

Auditable output

A draft you can download as PDF, with every figure shown together with its formula and source. Your buyer or an accredited verifier can check it line by line.

Why trust us?

Don't trust our word — trust the transparency of our work

Here is exactly how we work so a report can withstand audit.

📐 Official emission factors

Calculations use factors published by the EU and IPCC, and every number carries its source. Authority comes from the standard.

🔍 Every number is auditable

Emissions are calculated deterministically — the same data always yields the same result. Every figure is shown with its formula and factor.

🤝 Honest about our role

We prepare your data in CBAM format and flag what is missing. Final official verification is performed by an accredited verifier.

An honest note: Nechh Eco-Report is not an accredited verification or official declaration service and never claims to be. It prepares your data using EU CBAM methodology and speeds up the process; final verification and the official declaration are completed by an accredited verifier and an authorised CBAM declarant. The data you enter belongs to you.
